Apple has released a new beta version of iOS 6.1 to developers, this is the third beta release of iOS 6.1 and it comes with a number of changes over the current version of Apple’s mobile OS, which is iOS 6.0.1.
The new iOS 6.1 Beta 3 comes with new features on how developers can use Apple’s new mapping API withing their applications, plus improvements on how boarding passes are handled in Apple’s PassBook app.
There are also some minor changes to Apple’s Safari mobile browser, plus Apple has also released a new beta version of the Apple TV software, as yet we do not have any information on when the final version of iOS 6.1 will be available for everyone.
