Apple has rolled out a new update to its Macbook Air range today in preparation for the arrival of the their Thunderbolt Displays. The new 27 inch Thunderbolt displays will be equipped with a Thunderbolt connection supporting video and audio for its built in speakers via one Thunderbolt cable.
The MacBook Air EFI Firmware update includes fixes that enhance the stability of Lion Recovery from an Internet connection. Together with resolving issues with Apple Thunderbolt Display compatibility and Thunderbolt Target Disk Mode performance on MacBook Air machines (mid 2011) models.
Apple explains:
“After this update has successfully completed, your Boot ROM Version will be: MBA41.88Z.0077.B08.1109011050.” –
