As we expected Apple has released their iOS 11.4 software update and it brings a range of new features to the iPhone and iPad.
The iOS 11.4 software update comes with a range of new features, is also comes with some bug fixes and performance improvements.
The update includes support for AirPlay 2, this is only supported on the Apple HomePod and the Apple TV at the moment, but this will be expanded to third party devices soon. The Apple HomePod now comes with the Stereo Pair feature that lets your pair multiple HomePod speakers to be used as stereo speakers. This is now done automatically when two of these speakers are in the same room.
The latest version of Apple’s iOS also comes with support for Messages in iCloud, this means that all of your messages are backed up to iCloud. This is handy when you get a new Apple device as it will allow you to import your old messages into the new device.
The update is now available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, you can install the update on your device by going to Settings > General > Software update. You can find out some more information about the update over at Apple at the link below.
