Apple has this week pushed back the shipping dates of its new high-end Apple Mac Pro computer systems into April indicating that Apple is still experiencing problems meeting demand for its new innovative Apple Mac Pro system.
The Shipping dates for the Apple Mac Pro system has been pushed back in a number of markets around the world including Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK and the date could possibly move back even further.
The Apple Mac Pro starts at about $2,999 for the lower end specifications climbing to a maximum of $9,599 which includes all the top options currently offered by Apple. Computer world explains:
“Shortages of the Mac Pro will not materially affect Apple’s bottom line, as the Mac division accounted for just 11% of the company’s revenue for the December quarter. The Mac Pro, while expensive, will make up only a fraction of the unit sales of the line overall, which last quarter reached 4.8 million, the majority of those notebooks from the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro families.”
Profiteers Are also not helping the situation by placing Apple Mac Pro orders and then taking to the likes of eBay to sell the new systems at an increased price.
