Yesterday we told you that the latest iPhone jailbreak tool, JailbreakMe, which runs the iPhone 4 jailbreak direct from the Safari browser on your iPhone, uses security flaws in the iPhone OS 4 to run the jailbreak.
Now it seems that Apple is looking into the security flaws in iOS 4, that allow the JailbreakMe software to be run on the iPhone.
A French security firm Vupen, released an advisory regarding to critical security flaws in Apple’s iOS 4, Apple have told Reuters that they are looking into the flaws.
We can expect the next update of the iOS software to close the security holes, this will probably stop people from using the JailbreakMe tool to jailbreak their iPhone, although Comex who developed the tool says that there are other security flaws in iOS 4 that can be used to run the jailbreak.
