The Apple HomePod will launch some time in quarter four, Apple has yet to give an official release date for their new speaker.
According to a recent report, supply of the HomePod will be limited at launch, the news comes from Intec Appliances who are one of the manufacturers of the device.
“We will finally ship the smart home device this year, but its contribution will be fairly limited and hopefully that will improve next year,” Inventec Appliances President David Ho told analysts and reporters during an earnings conference.
If this is correct then supply of the new Apple HomePod could be limited until the new year, depending on how popular the device is.
Apple’s HomePod speaker comes with Siri built in, although it is designed for high end audio, which Apple’s is obviously hoping will set it apart from the Amazon Echo and the Google Home. As soon as we get an exact launch date for the HomePod, we will let you guy know.
