We are expecting to see a new cheaper HomePod at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference next week. Apple is also launching their existing Apple HomePod in more countries next month.
The Apple HomePod is launching in Germany, France and Canada in June and the device will go on sale on the 18th of June.
The device has been available in the US, UK and Australia for some time and now Apple is expanding it to more countries.
The HomePod comes with Apple’s Siri built in, Siri is expected to get a number of upgrades at WWDC 2018 next week. The HomePod is more expensive than devices from Amazon and Google, although Apple’s device is apparently designed to focus on Audio quality.
The new cheaper HomePod is rumored to come with Apple’s Beats branding and the device is expected to retail or around $250. We will have more details about this new Siri speaker when it is announced next week.
