Apple has filed another complaint against rival smartphone maker HTC with the International Trade Commission (ITC). The latest filing was made on the 8th of July, while the first one was filed back in March 2010.
The original ITC filing was related to 10 different patents, and the details of the latest filing haven’t been made available yet. However, as Foss Patents points out, it could be the same 5 patents which Apple just filed an ITC complaint against Samsung for.
The ITC website reveals that Apple filed another patent infringement complaint against Android device maker HTC on Friday, July 8, 2011. By my count, that’s Android-related lawsuit no. 48 (some disputes consist of multiple lawsuits). At this stage, the asserted patents aren’t known (not even their number).
