Apple has this week sent out emails to selected Apple iOS developers offering them a chance to purchase an Apple Watch Sport for delivery on April 28th 2015 just four days after the initial pre-order shipments will have been delivered.
Apple is only offering the 42mm Aluminium Apple Watch Sport with the Blue Sport Band that is currently priced at £339 on the UK Apple store, by random selection to developers after they have registered to be eligible. To re-cap the Apple Watch Sport features Ion-X glass, Retina display with Force Touch, Heart rate sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope. Together with Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz connectivity and comes supplied with a 2m Magnetic charging cable. Apple is estimated to have taken over 2 million pre-order since the Apple Watch was made available earlier this month on April 10th for pre-order.
Once an Apple developer has registered they are entered in to a section process and will be notified on April 23rd 2015 if they have been successful in purchasing and Apple Watch.
It was also reported this week that Apple maybe making the Apple Watch to order to keep inventory in the supply line to a minimum.
