Apple has today rolled out a new firmware update to its line of Thunderbolt Displays with the aim of correcting the fan issues a number of users have reported experiencing with the new Thunderbolts displays. The new firmware update version 1.1 is expected to fix the small issues being experienced and also bring with it more stability to the display.
The new firmware update is 942kb in size and can be installed in the Utilities folder within the Application folder, where it will then roll out automatically whenever you close this installer. Or can be downloaded straight from Apple’s site.
