We have featured a number of different Steve Jobs action figures here at Geeky Gadgets. The latest one is probably the most realistic looking to date, and it is made by a company called Inicons.
We presume that Apple will try and stop this Steve Jobs figure from going on sale, as you can see from the photos below, the box it comes in is obviously inspired by Apple’s packaging.
The Realism of the Steve Jobs Action Figure
The attention to detail on this Steve Jobs action figure is truly remarkable. From the iconic black turtleneck and blue jeans to the New Balance sneakers, every aspect of Jobs’ signature look has been meticulously recreated. The figure even includes a pair of glasses that are strikingly similar to the ones Jobs wore. The facial features are incredibly lifelike, capturing his intense gaze and thoughtful expression. This level of realism is a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of the designers at Inicons.
In addition to the physical likeness, the action figure also comes with several accessories that are synonymous with Steve Jobs. These include a miniature iPhone, iPad, and even a tiny Apple logo. These accessories not only enhance the figure’s authenticity but also serve as a nostalgic reminder of Jobs’ monumental contributions to the tech industry.
Legal and Ethical Considerations
Given the high level of detail and the obvious inspiration from Apple’s branding, it is highly likely that Apple will take legal action to prevent this Steve Jobs figure from being sold. Apple has a history of fiercely protecting its brand and intellectual property, and this situation is no different. The packaging of the action figure, which closely resembles Apple’s minimalist design, could be seen as a violation of trademark laws.
Moreover, there are ethical considerations to take into account. Steve Jobs was a highly influential figure, and his legacy is still very much alive. Some may argue that creating an action figure of him is in poor taste, especially so soon after his passing. On the other hand, fans of Jobs and Apple products may see this figure as a tribute to his genius and a way to keep his memory alive.
You can find out more about the Steve Jobs action figure over at Inicons, and it will retail for around $99 when it goes on sale in February.
