AND!XOR has once again taken to Kickstarter to raise the required funds to take its new AND!XOR DEFCON 26 Indie Badge into production. The hackable Internet of Things conference badge is equipped with a full colour screen, blinking LED lights, games, puzzles and easter eggs for you to find and enjoy. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the DEFCON 26 Indie Badge created by AND!XOR.
The conference badge is equipped with single player games hacker puzzles in the form of ARG, wrapping the challenges of hacking the badge with the style of a text based adventure game that interacts directly with the hardware. “If you don’t know what we mean by conference badges….Most security conferences come with some kind of electronic printed circuit board badge that you wear with a lanyard. Way better than the stupid “Hello My Name Is” sticker. It usually has blinking LEDs, games, cryptography puzzles, something that our hacker crowd loves.”
Functions of the indie conference DEFCON Badge include Bling Modes (LED Blinks + Screen Displayed Animations), Multiplayer Badge to Badge Game, Mo@r Single Player Games, Integrated Hacking Puzzle Challenge, Interface for the #badgelife shitty add-on and three Easter eggs. For more information and full specifications jump over to the official Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign page by following the link below. The conference badge is available to back with pledges starting from $150 or £107 and shipping expected to take place during July 2018.
