Google recently released their first developer preview of Android P and now we have some more information about Google’s next generation mobile OS.
When Android P is released it will not support older apps. Any older applications which were developed for Android 4.1 or below will not be supported in the new OS.
The guys from Android Police have revealed that any Android apps which were designed to run on Android 4.1 or lower will be blocked in the next major release of Google’s OS.
This has yet to be officially confirmed by Google as yet, although the evidence that Android Police has discovered points to this happening with the next major release.
We are expecting to hear more details about the Android P OS at Google IO 2018 which takes place in May. As yet we do not have any details on what the next version of android will be called.
