The Android Oreo update started to roll out to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in a number of countries recently. Now the update has been released for both handsets in Canada.
Back in February the update lands in some European countries, although the update was paused for a while due to some issues with it. Yesterday we saw the update released for both handsets on T-Mobile.
Now the update is being rolled out in Canada with a range of mobile carriers, this includes Rogers, Bell, Telus, Fido, Virgin Mobile, Videotron and Freedom Mobile.
The updates are apparently rolling out in stage for the handsets with the various carriers. You can check if the update is available for your handset by going to Settings >Software Update on the handset. If you receive the update, please leave a comment and let us know.
