If you happen to be a proud owner of the LG G3, you should keep an eye on your notifications because reports suggest that Android 5.0 is rolling out for the handset in Europe
Several reports suggest that Vodafone is rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the UK as well as Romania. So, there’s a possibility that other European countries will follow. The update was released in Poland a few weeks back, and now more countries are joining the Android 5.0 Lollipop bandwagon for the LG G3.
The update is roughly 500MB in size so make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network if you don’t want to choke out your allocated data limit. Once download, just follow the on-screen instructions to get the update on your handset.
As always, the update is rolled out in phases so it may take a few days before the notification pops up on your device. You can also manually check for the update from Settings > General > About phone > Software update > Check now, and see if it’s available for your device.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is possibly the biggest Android update as it brings an all-new Material design, lock screen notifications, ART runtime, improved battery settings and much more.
