Early this morning we told you about a new cloud backup feature that would be released with Android 4.4 Kit Kat, the news came from Reddit user, throwawaynexus5guy who managed to get his hands on the new Google Nexus 5.
He has now added some Android 4.4 Kit Kat screenshots to his original post, and you can see some of these below, we are expecting Android 4.4 and the Google Nexus 5 to be made official today.
We also heard earlier that Android 4.4 Kit Kat is designed to reduce Android fragmentation, and that it will work with older Android smartphones and also budget devices with 512MB of RAM and above.
We are expecting some sort of announcement from Google on Android 4.4 Kit Kat and the new Google Nexus 5 some time today, the handset is rumored to come with a 4.95 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other rumored specifications on the Google Nexus 5 include, a quad core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage.
The Google Nexus 5 is said to come with a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear camera which can record full HD video in 1080p.
We are hoping to have more details on the Google Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kit Kat some time later today.
