Amazon has announced that it will now be selling its Kindle DX e-book reader outside of the US, and it will be available in more than one hundred countries around the world.
The Amazon Kindle DX with Global Wireless features a 9.7 inch diagonal e-ink screen, and features 16 different shades of grey which are designed to deliver sharp and clear text.
The Amazon Kindle DX Global Wireless comes with a 3G wireless connection, and it can hold up to 3,500 books, and features a battery that will last for up to a week on a single charge.
It also features a built in PDF reader, and a text to speech reader, it is available to pre-order now for $489 and it will begin shipping on the 19th of January from Amazon
