Amazon has announced that it is buying mesh WiFi company Eero, the company will use the acquisition to help their customers improve connecting smart home devices.
Eero launched back in 2017 and Amazon has not disclosed how much they paid for the company, you can see some of the official statement below.

Every customer deserves reliable and secure WiFi in every room. By joining the Amazon family, we’re excited to learn from and work closely with a team that is defining the future of the home, accelerate our mission, and bring eero systems to more customers around the globe.”
