Amazon has announced that the new Amazon Echo Spot is now available to pre-order in the UK as of today. The device will launch in the UK on the 24th of January 2018, although pre-orders of the device have started today.
The Amazon Echo Spot is available in a choice of two colors, black or white and the device will set you back £119.99.
The Echo Spot is equipped with a 2.5 inch display and it also comes with a front facing camera which means you can use it for video calls. The device has a 4 microphone array and it measures 104 mm x 97 mm x 91 mm and weighs in at 420g.
It comes with Amazon’s voice activated assistant Alexa built in and it can be used as a clock when in standby as it features a clock face on the display. This is Amazon’s second device with a built in display, their other device, the Echo Show costs around £200.
Amazon has done very well with its range of Alexa enable devices, we heard yesterday how popular smart speakers had become in the US and Amazon’s devices appear to be the more popular ones out of the different ones available on the market.
