Alcatel has announced the launch of a new Android smartphone at Mobile World Congress, the Alcatel A5 LED.
The Alcatel A5 LED features a back panel that has LEDs in it and these can show notifications and more, the handset comes with a 5.2 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The new Alcatel A5 LED comes with a MediaTek MT6753 processor and 2GB of RAM, there is also 16GB of included storage and a microSD card slot.
The handset is equipped with dual cameras, on the front there is a 5 megapixel camera for selfies and on the back there is an 8 megapixel camera for photos and videos.
Other specifications on the Alcatel A5 LED include a 2800 mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the device also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and a dual SIM card slot.
The Alcatel A5 LED will launch in Europe some time in may and it will retail for €199, it will come with a Metallic Black LED back-cover and an additional Metallic Black or Metallic Silver back-cover.
