Alex Zakharov from ALFTEL Systems has launched a new Kickstarter campaign this week to raise the CAD $35,000 the team requires to take their new wireless platform and full-spectrum tool for wireless testing, security applications and routing into manufacture.

The AIRBUD campaign is important to us because it introduces a flexible and powerful wireless platform. Whether you are a wireless professional or an enthusiast interested in monitoring your environment, developing and improving your pentesting procedures or creating new router and firewall applications, AIRBUD lets you do this quickly and easier with a smaller footprint package.
We have created AIRBUD to fill a gap in the wireless application development and testing communities. We are hoping it will be adopted as the platform of choice for multi-radio Open Source projects.
The purpose of our campaign is to offset the development costs of bringing a complex new device to market. By supporting us in this, you will have access to our early production at a reduced cost. We are also working with our production partners to see how we can upgrade some components for our early backers. Right now we are offering a free GPS module to the first 10 backers who choose an AIRBUD Reward. Stand by for more, but remember that early backers will likely get the most benefit.We are just weeks away from placing our order for the first production run. This will happen even if our goal is not met. Support us now to lock in your pre-production price for AIRBUD. The design work is finished and the components have been selected. We are eagerly waiting for our pre-production PCB boards for testing and approval.

All systems will come with the latest Ubuntu Server, Kali Linux, Parrot Security OS and Windows 10 Evaluation pre-installed.
