
Portable mini PC systems that are equipped with a touchscreen display and projector seem to be coming more and more popular. One such system is the new Aiptek iBeamBlock which takes the form of a modular mini PC that can be equipped with a selection of different components including projector, battery pack and touchscreen mini PC.
The system has been created to allow you to pick and choose from the components you need for each situation. Offering a mini PC tablet with touchscreen, which can be used on its own or in conjunction with the battery and projector modules.
The mini PC is equipped with an Intel Atom Z3735 Bay trail processor supported by 2GB of RAM together with 32GB of internal storage and comes preloaded with Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 software. Other features include a handy microSD card slot together with connectivity for both 802.11b,g,n wireless and Bluetooth 4.0.

The system is equipped with a 4.5 inch multitouch IPS display and the battery pack takes the form of a 3.7V, 12,000 mAh unit that is capable of running the system for up to 2 hours when the projector is attached. The Aiptek Projector L400 provides a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, offers up to 720 lumens of brightness and is capable of casting an image up to 120 inches across and supports both input from HDMI or Pogo pins whichever you prefer.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Aiptek, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
