Expected Features and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 series is anticipated to come with a range of impressive features that will cater to both casual users and professionals. The 9.7-inch model is expected to feature a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, providing vibrant colors and deep blacks, ideal for media consumption and productivity tasks. The 8-inch model, while slightly smaller, is also expected to offer a high-resolution display, making it a compact yet powerful device.
Both models are rumored to come with a fingerprint scanner for enhanced security, and support for Samsung’s S Pen, which will be a boon for artists and note-takers. The inclusion of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor suggests that these tablets will be capable of handling multitasking and demanding applications with ease. Additionally, the 3GB of RAM will ensure smooth performance, even when running multiple apps simultaneously.
Software and Connectivity
Running on Android 7.0 Nougat, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 series will benefit from a range of software enhancements, including improved multitasking capabilities, a more efficient notification system, and better battery management. Samsung’s custom UI is also expected to bring additional features and optimizations, making the user experience even more seamless.
In terms of connectivity, the tablets are expected to support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE, ensuring that users can stay connected wherever they are. The inclusion of a USB Type-C port will allow for faster charging and data transfer, which is a significant upgrade from the previous models.
The tablets are also expected to come with a decent amount of internal storage, with options likely ranging from 32GB to 128GB. Additionally, there will be a microSD card slot for expandable storage, allowing users to store more apps, photos, and videos without worrying about running out of space.
Camera and Battery Life
The camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 series is expected to be quite capable for a tablet. The rear camera is rumored to be an 8-megapixel shooter, which should be sufficient for capturing decent photos and videos. The front-facing camera is expected to be a 5-megapixel unit, making it suitable for video calls and selfies.
Battery life is always a crucial factor for tablets, and the Galaxy Tab S3 series is expected to deliver in this area. The 9.7-inch model is rumored to come with a 6,000mAh battery, while the 8-inch model is expected to feature a slightly smaller battery. Both models should offer all-day battery life, thanks to the efficient Snapdragon 652 processor and the optimizations in Android 7.0 Nougat.
