According to ARM’s worldwide mobile computing ODM manager, Roy Chen, we can expect to see around 50 ARM-based tablets released before the end of the year.
“The first tablet devices will launch in the second quarter by [mobile network] carriers. You’ll see a lot more in the third quarter,” said Chen.
ARM must have a good idea of what tablets will be released, so the figure of 50 tablets is probably pretty accurate. It does seem like a lot though, I guess the launch of the iPad has got a lot of companies interested in launching a Tablet.
