3Ding the 3D printer manufacturer has this week introduced a new 3D printer to its range in the form of the FabX 2.0 that provides a printed volume of 100 x 100 x 100mm and is priced at just $475
The new arrival has been launched just six months after the original launch of the first FabX 3D Printer and now builds on the technology used in the original as well as adding a range of new features, tweaks and enhancements to improve the printing process.
Watch the video below to learn more about the features and design of the new FabX 2.0 3D printer that has been designed to print ‘flawlessly’ say 3Ding, who explain a little more :
Retaining the ‘X’ shaped design from it’s predecessor, we have made the FabX 2.0 even more compact. With an all metal body and a matte finish, the FabX 2.0 is a killer when it comes to the aesthetics. The steel and aluminium body has been perfectly engineered with the right weights at the right spots to minimize print-time vibrations by a great extent.
Learning to level the build plates of 3D Printers precisely, was one huge task when it came to beginners. and now, we’re letting the machine do it for you. We automated the whole leveling process with an inductive auto leveling sensor. Irrespective of how criss-cross the build plate is placed, the FabX 2.0 adjusts itself automatically and just prints!
With the press of a button, the FabX 2.0 loads the latest file from the micro SD Card and prints, untethered. which eliminates the need to leave your computer connected for long hours of prints. That said, there’s no LCD, no direction panels, no rotating knobs, etc. to browse through complex menus. It’s just one button, to print! and it works flawlessly.
