We have started to hear more and more rumors about the 2020 iPhones, according to a recent report the iPhone 12 will come with an under display fingerprint scanner.
This is a rumor we have heard previously that Apple would bring an under the display fingerprint scanner to the iPhone for additional security. The iPhone 11 range of handsets do not have a fingerprint sensor, they use Apple’s Face ID.
The news comes in a report from the Economic Daily News, who have said that Apple will use an under display fingerprint scanner from Qualcomm in at least one of next years iPhone 12 handsets.
We had previously thought there would be three iPhone 12 handsets in 2020, although a recent rumor has suggested that there may be four devices.
Two handsets are rumored to be high end models with a 6.1 inch display and a 6.7 inch display, these would be the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. The other two models are rumored to be like the iPhone 11 and will apparently come with a 6.1 inch display and 5.4 inch display.
Apple will be using their new apple A14 processor in next years handsets, this is rumored to be a 5nm processor which would be more efficient, the current A13 Bionic is a 7nm processor.
We are expecting to see Apple’s new iPhones in September of 2020, the handsets will come with a new design and may get rid of the notch or have a much smaller one.
