Apple’s iPhone X is their most expensive iPhone to date, the handset retails for $999. Now it would appear that this years flagship model may end up costing even more.
There will be three models of the iPhone X this year, a cheaper 6.1 inch model with an LCD display and two other models with OLED displays. The two OLED models are said to come with a 5.8 inch display and a 6.5 inch display.
According to a recent report by UBS analyst Steven Milunovich and Benjamin Wilson the new iPhone X could end up costing as much as $1,100 for the 6.5 inch model. We also previously heard rumors that the new LCD model with cost around $700.
All three models are expected to share a similar design, the devices will come with the notch at the top and will be similar to the current model. Apple will give these three new handsets a number of upgrades over the current iPhone. These will include a new processor and more RAM. They are also expected to come with some new cameras.
It is not clear as yet on whether all three models will come with dual cameras like the current iPhone X and the iPhone 8 Plus or whether this will be reserved for the top models. We are expecting Apple to introduce their new iPhones some time in September or October. As soon as we get some more details about the handsets we will let you guys know.
