There is no doubt that the now defunct Fisker Karma was a very attractive vehicle. Karma Automotive has now unveiled the new Karma Revero and it looks much like that Fisker from years back. The 2017 Revero is a luxury hybrid vehicle and it debuted at a private event in California.
What we know about the Revero is that it will start at $130,000 and is built at a low volume production facility in California. Inside the car has a new infotainment system that can be updated with new features OTA. It is claimed to be the first car sold in the US that is powered by electricity, gas, and solar power. The solar roof panels charge the 12V battery and the HV battery to add to electric driving range.
In sport mode, the Revero can reach 60mph in 5.4 seconds and the range on a full charge is 50 miles. Total driving range thanks to the gas-powered range extender is 300 miles. The HV battery supports fast charging and can be charged to 80% in 24 minutes. Karma has offered no images of the interior at this point or any idea when the car will be available for purchase.
