Yesterday Apple released its new 2014 Retina MacBook Pro range, both 13 inch and 15 inch models of the MacBook Pro got updated with the latest processors.
Now we have some benchmarks on the new entry level 15 inch 2014 Retina MacBook Pro, this model comes with a 2.2GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM.
As you can see from the benchmark, compared to last years model, there are some speed improvements in the new model, last years entry level model scored 2811 on GeekBench and this years model scored 3050 in the single core performance test.
Next up is the multi core performance benchmarks, last years model score 10730 and this years entry level model scored 11586.
The new 15 inch 2014 Retina MacBook Pro comes with a choice of either a 2.2GHz or 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM as standard.
On the 13 inch Retina MacBook Pro there are two processor options, which include a 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor, and a 2.8GHz Intel Core i5 processor, both the 13 inch and 15 inch models processors can be upgraded.
