We have been hearing rumors about the new 12 inch MacBook Air for some time, and now according to a recent report, the MacBook Air will get a new design with the launch of the new 12 inch model.
The news comes in a report from Marc Gurman of 9 to 5 Mac, who has received some information on the new design of Apple’s 12 inch MacBook Air.
The new 12 inch MacBook Air will be considerably thinner than the existing MacBook Air range, the device will be smaller than the current 13 inch model, and also thinner than the current 11 inch version, it will also be lighter as well.
As well as the slimmer design, the new 12 inch MacBook Air also gets some other design changes, which include changes to the keyboard design, and the trackpad.
Apple has apparently managed to make the device considerably thinner than the current models by introducing a new USB Type C connector and removing a number of ports on the device.
This new Type C connector can apparently be used to power display, and can also be used to charge the new MacBook Air, so it looks like the device will only come with one port.
This would mean that Apple could also launch some sort of hub with the 12 inch MacBook Air, which could be used for additional connections.
The new MacBook Air is expected to launch around the middle of the year, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
