Apple’s new iPad uses a different type of SIM card than your mobile phone, a Micro SIM. We have already seen how you can make your own Micro SIM using a standard SIM card and a pair of scissors.

But what if you want to use a Micro SIM in your iPhone? This seems like a good idea as many of the  Micro SIM data plans are considerably cheaper than the standard iPhone plans available.

The guys over at Hijinks Inc have created a handy guide that will show you how to make an adapter for a MicroSIM card that will let you use it in your iPhone or any mobile phone that accepts a standard SIM card.

You can find out how to make your own Micro SIM adapter over at Hijinks Inc, and it looks like it will work with all models of the iPhone and you wont need to jailbreak it to use it.
