Sprint Employees Told Not To Comment On iPhone 5

We have been hearing rumors over the last few month that mobile carrier Sprint in the US would be getting the iPhone 5, and now an internal memo from Sprint to it’s employees has been leaked.

The memo tells employees if they are asked about the iPhone 5 coming to Sprint, they should tell people ‘no comment’, and also tell customers that they have no information to share on the iPhone 5.

“A recent Wall Street Journal article mentioned that Sprint is getting the iPhone5,” the memo read. “If you’re asked by a customer or just talking to friends or family members, you need to avoid making any comment about the iPhone and simple [sic] state “no comment.”

We suspect that Sprint will be getting the iPhone 5 when it launches either at the end of the month or beginning of October, and we know it will be headed to AT&T and Verizon and possibly T-Mobile as well.
