The Nokia 808 PureView will launch in selected countries this month. Nokia had previously said that they had no plans to launch the handset in the US, and whilst it won’t be available with any of the US carriers, it is possible a SIM-free version will launch in the US.
The news comes from Nokia’s US President, Chris Weber, who recently mentioned that Nokia has not ruled out launching a SIM-free version of the PureView in the US.
As a reminder, the Nokia 808 PureView runs Symbian Belle as its OS and features a 41-megapixel camera and a 4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels.
Camera Capabilities
The standout feature of the Nokia 808 PureView is undoubtedly its 41-megapixel camera.
