Not too long ago, Samsung unveiled their latest flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Barcelona. If you think Samsung is done for a few months, think again.
Recently, a mysterious Samsung handset with model number SM-G310 was spotted in FCC’s database. Furthermore, it was also spotted on Zauba, a logistics tracking website, hinting at SM-G310 being an entry-level handset and comes in both single SIM and dual-SIM flavors.

The listing on the FCC doesn’t reveal a lot of details about the handset, except that it carries a 4-inch display and has a 1,500 mAh battery.Upon further investigation, the folks at PhoneArena also found the device on Zauba, which also mentions its a 4-inch handset.
It was revealed some time back that it will be powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Now, this is an extremely good news for budget-conscious users that Samsung might launch a device with the latest Android operating system, which is optimized to run on devices with low RAM.
The same leaker also mentioned some of other specifications of the device, including a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
FCC is usually the last stop before the device makes its way to the market. So, it shouldn’t be too far away. We’ll update you as soon as we get any more information about this mysterious Samsung handset.
