Oppo has this week added a new addition to their range of smartphones, in the form of the newly launched Oppo R819 smartphone.
The Oppo R819 smartphone will come supplied with Oppo’s own custom default ROM but will soon receive the ability to benefit from a new ‘Color’ ROM.
Oppo says the new ‘Color’ ROM will offer a fresh take on Android that was developed with OPPO fans in mind, but if you prefer Oppo will also offer stock Android 4.2.1 ROMs as well.
The Oppo R819 smartphone is fitted with a 4.7 inch 720p IPS display that is powered by a 1.2GHz MT6589 quad-core processor supported by 1GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage for files and media.
Other features of the Oppo R819 include Dual SIM support, FM radio, DLNA, a 2000 mAh battery and 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 8 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs. The Oppo R819 weighs just 110 grams and measure just 7.3 mm thick.
The Oppo R819 is now available to pre-order or €269 in Europe and $349 in the US and will start shipping sometime in September.
