JVC’s 1.2 Inch Thin Home Theater System

JVC has launched a new home theater audio system in Japan that measures an ultra thin 1.2 inches.

The new system is designed to be hung on your wall, the system is comprised of a JVC AX-FT amplifier and a set of thin SP-FT speakers.

The AX-FT amplifier is rated at 4 x 20W and it supports DTS surround sound and Dolby Digital surround sound, and it can also play AAC audio files.

The JVC AX-FT amplifier will retail for $270 whilst the SP-FT speakers will retail for $224, it will go on sale in Japan in October and will be available in a choice of black or white.

There are no details on when we are likely to see it in the US and Europe.
