iOS 5.1 Brings Reported Improved Battery Life To iPhone 4S

Apple recently launched the latest version of their mobile OS, iOS 5.1, and according to a number of reports, the update has brought significant improvements in battery performance on a couple of iOS devices.

The improvement seem to be more noticeable on the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, and the iPad and iPad 2 with 3G connections, with users of WiFi only models also noticing slight improvements.

    I saw a major decrease in battery life after the update.

    I too have seen a major decrease in battery life though I’m not sure if it’s down to 5.1 as I only started seeing the effect more than a week after updating.
