Infinite USB Plug

This innovate but simple design for USB plugs is fantastic. The revolutionary solution of USB connectors is a concept from Gonglue Jiang a Chinese design student and poses the question why this has never been thought of before.

Gonglue’s Infinite USB plugs allows you to keep adding your peripherals without the need USB hubs or hot swapping your devices on USB ports when needed.

Gonglue has also designed an external power connector which fits into the Infinite USB chain to help those peripherals that need a little extra juice. Each one is also colour-coded to help with identification.

Unfortunately at the moment this is only a concept and the question still remains, what are its limits and would it would affect the bandwidth through to the connected devices once you start multitasking?
