HP Wireless TV Connect Streams 1080p Video

Today HP have unveiled their latest media streaming device the Wireless TV Connect designed specifically for 1080p HD video streaming.

HP claim there is no time-lag with the system also supports protected content, something that Intel’s Wireless Display can’t. Check out the video after the jump.

No software is required to setup the new system you simply connect a transmitter to your computer via dual HDMI and USB cables and a receiver to your display and you are ready to go. Allowing you to stream 1080p HD video from any HDMI equipped computer to your TV.

The HP Wireless TV Connect will be available to purchase in October and retail for $199.
