This week HP has updated its Pavilion range with the addition of their top spec new HP dv6z Quad Edition laptops which are fitted with AMD’s faster Llano-based chips and have processor options from 1.4GHz quad A6-3400M up to a 1.9GHz A8-3530MX. Which when tweaked via AMD’s Turbo technology can reach 2.3GHz and 2.6GHz respectively.
Other options include the ability to install up to 16GB and 1Tb of storage complete with Blu-ray drive and full HD video playback. They are also equipped with Beats audio, 3D-capable HDMI 1.4 video out and 2 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports for good measure.
