Augmented reality is still some way from breaking through into everyday use, but many companies such as Microsoft are currently working hard to make the augmented reality technology part of our everyday lives.
Microsoft Research have released a video demonstrating their new holoflector interactive augmented-reality mirror. Which is a unique device that allows graphics to be superimposed directly on to your own reflection. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
The new concept was presented at this years Microsoft Research’s TechFest 2012, and combines the a Microsoft Kinect motion controllers and Windows Smartphone to help create interactive graphics.
Providing us with a glimpse of what we can expect to see augmented reality providing it the future as more applications and company integrate the technology into their devices.
