Elder Scrolls, Skyrim Style Online MMO To Be Announced By Bethesda This May

Skyrim fans might be pleased to learn that its been unveiled today that Bethesda and ZeniMax Online Studios is set to announce a new Elder Scrolls Online MMO game in May 2012.

The new information has come via the Tom Guide website who was contacted by an unnamed industry source, who revealed the new MMO and a few details.


The new Elder Scrolls Online game is expected to take place a full millennium before The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Taking place during the “Second Era,” around several hundred years before any of the other Elder Scrolls games periods.

Early leaked information suggests that the new Elders Scrolls Online game will have three playable factions. But other than that not much has been divulged. Except the factions will each be represented by an animal: A lion, a dragon, and a bird.
