Samsung Shark S5350, S5550 And S3550 Mobile Phones

Samsung has launched a new range of mobile phones called the Samsung Shark, which are designed to bring a range of functions to users including social media and multimedia functions. There are three models in the Samsung Shark range, the Samsung Shark S5350, Samsung Shark S5550  and the Samsung Shark S3550.

First up is the Samsung Shark S5350, which is an 11.9 inch thick candybar mobile phone with a QVGA display, HSDPA, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a microSD card slot, 100MB of built in memory and a range of instant messenger functions like GTalk and AIM.

Market analytics firm Flurry have just released details of the Nexus One’s first week sales and its looking a little low compared to its main competition. However Google still haven’t confirmed these numbers as yet.

Google Nexus One Early Termination Fees Are Expensive

If you were thinking about getting yourself  one of Google’s [GOOG] new smartphones, the Google Nexus one, you may want to think again, as ArsTechnica are reporting that early termination fees on the Nexus One are high.

If you purchase a Nexus One on a T-Mobile two year contract, the handset is going to cost you $179, plus your monthly contract fee, but if you decide to cancel your contract early, you will have to pay an early termination feed to Google as well as T-Mobile.

Palm Pre webOS 1.3.5.2 Now Live In Europe

The latest update to Palm’s webOS for the Palm Pre, webOS 1.3.5.2 has gone live in Europe and it adds a range of new features to Palm’s webOS on the Palm Pre.

Some of the features include the ability to install more third party applications, as Palm have allocated more space for installation, and also the option to tether the Palm Pre via Bluetooth.

Palm Pre Plus And Pixie Plus Available On Verizon From 25th January

We told you last week about the new Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi, that would be coming to Verizon soon, good news as it looks like both of Palm’s new handsets will be available on Verizon Wireless from the 25th of January.

The major change to the Plam Pre Plus, is that the navigation button that was on the original Pre, which is designed to provide a simplified navigation, and the internal storage has doubled from 8GB to 16GB.

We first heard about Lenovo’s Google Android powered smartphone, the LePhone last week, Lenovo has released some press photos of this cool looking smartphone.

The Lenovo LePhone will launch inc China initially, and it features a 3.7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800, other features include a full QWERTY keyboard and dual, three megapixal cameras, check out the photos after the jump.

Google Acknowledges Nexus One 3G Issues

Google [GOOG] were off to a great start with the launch of their first smartphone, or all the call it the ’superphone’, the Google Nexus One.

It seems some users of Google Nexus One have been experiencing problems with their handsets fluctuating between 3G and Edge, and Google and T-Mobile have asked customers to report on the exact problems they have been having so they can investigate the issue.

Intel and LG have teamed up to release a new smartphone which is powered by Intel’s Moorestown processor, and will run Intel’s Moblin 2.1 Linux based OS.
