We featured a number of Casio’s new compact digital cameras last week including the Casio Exilim EX-Z33, now we have another new camera from Casio, the EX-Z280.

The Casio EX-Z280 features a 12.1 megapixel sensor with a wide angle 26mm 4 x optical zoom, and is capable of recording HD video in 720p.

It features Casio’s Exlim Engine 4.0 processor, which is designed to deliver higher image quality and a lower power consumption, plus the high-speed dedicated image processing CPU, in addition to an ordinary CPU, allows the camera to perform complex processing right on the camera.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z280 will go on sale later in the month for $179.99.
