During yesterdays Apple Keynote event, that announced the arrival of Apple’s new iPhone 5 together with a newly designed, iPod Touch and Lightning connector.
Apple CEO Tim Cook also revealed that their iTunes App store now offers over 700,000 applications to iOS users with a staggering 250,000 of these also being available as dedicated iPad applications.
Cook went on to explain that on average 90 percent of those 700k applications are downloaded on a monthly basis, and each iOS customer on average uses more than 100 applications, which seems a lot of applications for an average user.
