As the launch of iOS 5 draws closer, Apple has been busy today preparing their new iCloud website for launch. They have now removed its Beta tag and enabled a new login for users. iCloud will be launching later today alongside Mac OS X 10.7.2, and Apple has already rolled out iTunes 10.5 in preparation last night.
What is iCloud?
Once enabled, Apple’s iCloud service will sync your photos and videos directly from your iPhone camera roll, as well as app data and your iOS device settings. Together with documents from iWork apps, any changes you make to a document on one iOS device will be synced with iCloud and to your other iOS devices automatically. This seamless integration ensures that users have access to their most recent files and settings across all their Apple devices without the need for manual transfers or updates.
