We have already seen a couple of photos of the new Samsung Galaxy S III, although the photos we saw were of the device in dummy boxes, and now another photo has appeared online, which is reported to be the next Galaxy smartphone.
Unfortunately, the photo isn’t the best quality. Have a look at it below. We don’t know if this is the final design or just another dummy case. What do you guys think?

Expected Features and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S III is expected to be officially announced on the 3rd of May. We know that it will feature Samsung’s new Exynos 4 Quad processor, which promises to deliver significant performance improvements over its predecessors. This new processor is designed to handle more complex tasks and provide a smoother user experience, making it ideal for multitasking and high-performance applications.
There is also the possibility that the US version may feature a Snapdragon processor. This could be due to compatibility issues with certain networks or simply a strategic decision by Samsung to diversify its hardware offerings. The Snapdragon processor is known for its robust performance and energy efficiency, which could make the US version of the Galaxy S III particularly appealing to consumers.
Design and Display
While the leaked photo doesn’t give us a clear view of the final design, there are several rumors and speculations about what the Galaxy S III might look like. It’s expected to have a sleek, modern design with a larger display compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S II. The display is rumored to be a Super AMOLED screen, which would offer vibrant colors and deep blacks, enhancing the overall visual experience.
The screen size is speculated to be around 4.8 inches, making it one of the larger smartphones on the market at the time. This would make it ideal for media consumption, gaming, and browsing the web. Additionally, the device is expected to have a high resolution, possibly Full HD, which would provide sharp and clear images.
Camera and Additional Features
Another area where the Galaxy S III is expected to shine is its camera capabilities. Rumors suggest that it will feature a high-resolution rear camera, possibly 12 megapixels or more, with advanced features like autofocus, LED flash, and possibly even optical image stabilization. This would make it a strong contender for those who use their smartphones for photography and video recording.
The front-facing camera is also expected to see improvements, making it ideal for video calls and selfies. With the increasing popularity of video conferencing apps, a high-quality front camera would be a significant selling point.
Software and User Experience
On the software side, the Galaxy S III is expected to run on the latest version of Android, possibly with Samsung’s custom user interface layered on top. This would provide users with a range of unique features and customization options that are not available on stock Android devices. Features like gesture controls, enhanced multitasking, and improved notifications are just a few of the possibilities.
Samsung is also likely to include its suite of proprietary apps and services, such as Samsung Pay, Samsung Health, and Bixby, its virtual assistant. These services add value to the device and help differentiate it from other Android smartphones on the market.
As soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know. The anticipation for the Samsung Galaxy S III is building, and it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the competition once it is officially unveiled.
