Cricket Wireless have announced their latest Android smartphone, the ZTE Source which will be available from the carrier this Sunday the 20th of October for $219.99.
The ZTE Source features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with a 4.5 inch display that has a 16:9 aspect ratio and 218 pixels per inch, the handset is powered by a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The ZTE Source will also ship with Muve Music, Cricket’s exclusive music service that offers unlimited music at no additional charge with Cricket’s no-contract unlimited rate plans. With Muve Music, consumers can choose from more than 15 million tracks, enjoy songs instantly with progressive playback, and explore music favorites with enriched artist catalogue linking and side-bar dashboard views to streamline navigation. Cricket is the only carrier to include unlimited music in its rate plans, making the innovative Muve Music service available to even more customers at no additional cost. In addition, the ZTE Source’s SRS™ Enhanced Sound adds richer, deeper base, delivering the perfect companion to Muve Music.
Other specifications on the ZTE Source, include 4GB of built in storage plus a microSD card slot for expansion, the handset also features a 1 megapixel front facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear camera, that features a BSI sensor and it is capable of recording high definition video in 720p.
The handset comes with 4G LTE, and Cricket have a range of 4G plans with prices starting at $45 per month for 2.5GB of data, up to $65 a month for 10GB of data, you can find out more details over at Cricket.
