Adafruit has announced the arrival of a new product to their online store in the form of the Zero Stem for Pi Zero 1.3 and Pi Zero W 1.1. Taking the form of a small PCB shim that transforms your Raspberry Pi Zero into a USB dongle. “Super handy when you want to share your computer’s Internet connection without messing with extraneous adapters, cables, what have you”
The Raspberry Pi Zero Stem is now available to purchase priced at $5.95 and once soldered on, the Stem lets you plug into USB to get power and data over a computer USB port. Use it on the go to create VNC or proxy servers or cluster several Zeros together.
The Zero Stem is compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero v1.3 and the Raspberry Pi Zero W v1.1, but it is not compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero v1.2 or any full-size Raspberry Pi.
