The Y-Power back battery project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise $30,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production. Industry 86 its creators explain a little more :
“Last year at this time, the Y-Power Smart Charger was an idea. We wanted to create the most useful, versatile, and beautiful power bank in the world, and we believe that has been achieved. Our patent pending design, prototyping, and production mold costs have consumed all of our financial resources and now we turn to the Kickstarter community to help us get this great product into the public’s hands.
In order for us to make this a reality, we need $30,000 so that we can reach a minimum order quantity with our manufacturing facility. Thank you so much for your support on this project and thank you for sharing! Industry 86 is a group of 4 designers who are passionate about gadgets and consumer electronics. We have collectively launched over 30 consumer products in the past 7 years while working for other companies, and this is our first independent project. Our inspiration and mission is similar to the likes of Steve Jobs and James Dyson: Solve the problems that others ignore while creating beautifully useful products.”
